I am passing along information about a survey that the firm Intentional Futures is conducting in partnership with the Gates Foundation. The survey is targeted at instructional designers in higher education. More information below.
(ps. Cross posting to the ELI Forum and the Instructional Technologies constituent group)
From: Daniel Paly, Senior Producer | Intentional Futures
Dear Instructional Designer,
Intentional Futures is conducting an investigation into the role and workflow of instructional designers in higher education, with support from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation. If you’re an instructional designer that works for a higher education institution, we’d love to get your perspective!
The survey takes about 15 minutes:
As digital tools evolve and become more prominent in higher education, instructional designers, instructional technologists, course designers, and professionals with related titles are taking on an increasingly integral role in the design and delivery of learning experiences. But who are instructional designers? What do they do? Where do they fit in higher education?
Help us find the answers by taking the survey above before Friday, March 4th, 2016.
Results will help inform new developments in education technology and professional development programs. The white paper will also be made publicly available, and sent directly to survey participants that elect to receive a copy. For more details please see the FAQ below.
Thank you in advance for providing input!
