I have been working (struggling) in virtual reality for seven years now - from Second Life to the open-source movement (less expensive but more groundwork must be done).   It has been thrilling to be able to create ways for students from around the world to share ideas and experiences together.   But when you can create the world, the story line, the "content," the assessment and even the rules of behavior, you have some complex and interesting tasks.

I'd like to start by hearing who has tested the waters.   And, if you haven't tried - what might you think about trying?   What are your experiences and concerns?

It is a complex space, but amazingly powerful and interesting.   Tell me your ideas please.
