Currently, I work in the Center for Distance and Online Learning at Hudson Valley Community College as an Instructional Designer. This position focuses on providing faculty training and support with the colleges Learning Management System Blackboard as well as innovation in online course design and delivery by staying current in technological developments in the field of online education methodology and technology. The position also requires advanced technical knowledge of LMS and integrated tool vendors to provide administration, diagnostics, and troubleshooting support to faculty, staff, and students.
I'm also a part-time faculty member at Hudson Valley Community College for both the Teacher Preparation and Computing & Information Science departments. Currently, I'm teaching "Technology in the Classroom" fully online and "Computer Concepts and Applications I" face-to-face. I also taught "Strategies for Successful Online Learning" fully online through the Individual Studies department.
