about me
Hope Windle is and has been the Instructional Designer at SUNY Ulster since 2005. She comes to Instructional Design with a background in fine art, and educational online software. Previously, she has worked as Art Director of New Media for Viacom as well as a Creative Strategist for Digital Think, an educational software company serving Fortune 500 companies.

Presently, in addition to teaching web-based media tools online at the college level, she has been working to help faculty and students connect in a wild array of media. She has worked to strengthen the k-22 continuum with local school districts. She won and managed a SUNY Innovative Instructional Technology Grant, overseeing the creation of a virtual medical center for Ulster nursing students to practice critical thinking skills. She has been integral in fostering International collaboration from all angles: students to students, to a IIE Scholar Rescue Fund guest faculty, to team led collaborations. She has also consulted educators internationally. Collaborations for Ulster students have included partners from Belarus, Brazil, Canada, England, Italy, Japan, Lebanon, Mexico, and Taiwan. At the NAFSA conference, she led a workshop; “Internationalizing Your Curriculum”. Presently, she is sitting on both SUNY Ulster’s campus-wide Strategic Planning Committee as well as the Distance Learning Strategic Planning Committee. Just two weeks ago, the COIL collaboration with SUNY Ulster and Fatec Americana in Sao Paulo, Brazil received a coveted award from Banco Santander.
